Karol Carroll, soprano, has been performing in the New England area for the past 12 years. Ms. Carroll has a wide-range of performance experience on both the concert and opera stage.  She has appeared with Longwood Opera, New England Light Opera, OPERAFEST! Of NH, Opera League of NH, Granite State Opera and Bel Canto Theatre.   

As a recitalist and soloist, Ms. Carroll’s credits include:  Vivaldi’s Gloria, Handel’s Messiah, Haydn’s The Creation, Mozart’s Mass in C Minor, & Bach’s St. John Passion.  Ms. Carroll has been a featured performer in the Walker Lecture Series presentation of Cordially Cole & By George and Opera Circle’s The Lyric Soprano.   She has been featured at the Mt. Washington Resort in An Evening of Mozart and a celebration of America’s Melodies. 

Ms. Carroll is the founded and director of the vocal ensemble Belle Voci which performs concerts of Opera, Broadway, Cabaret and Holiday selections.  Her recording credits include the group’s CD The Essence of Cabaret released in 2006 and upcoming releases of Christmastime and The American Negro Spirituals.  In addition to her orchestral work, Hillary is an enthusiastic chamber musician, and currently plays in a piano trio at NEC.  Her quartet, Sarquindi, was selected for the semifinals of the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition in 2003 and will perform on the National Public Radio program “From the Top” in January of 2005.  She spends her summers playing chamber music at Greenwood Music Camp. 

 Hillary also studies piano with Marilyn Roth.  In addition to music, she is also interested in history, foreign languages, writing, and literature.
